Description

PACT is a systematic crystallization screen evaluating pH, Anion, Cation, and Polyethylene glycol in 96 unique formulations.

Three screens in one. A 24 condition PEG/pH screen, a 24 condition PEG/cation screen and a 48 condition PEG/anion screen. The PEG/pH screen uses a multi-component buffer to cover pH 4 to 9 versus PEG, decoupling pH change and buffer. The PEG/cation screen evaluates six cations, with chloride counter-ions versus pH 5 to 8 in the presence of PEG. The PEG/anion screen evaluates twelve anions with sodium or potassium counter-ions versus pH 6.5 to 8.5 in the presence of PEG.
